Hollow is a versatile personal app inspired by the best functionalities of leading tools, designed to enhance your daily life. It solves the need for greater customization, empowering you to create tools that work exactly the way you need them.
True to its name, Hollow provides an intuitive, minimalistic interface that allows you to start with clean, empty workspace. It’s a space where you can easily adapt and modify your workspace, offering no wrong way to use it—Hollow transforms to suit your needs.
In Hollow, each tool is like a deck of cards. To use a tool, simply create a card from its deck and place it on Hollow’s interface. This allows you to add multiple versions of the same tool, each represented as an individual card.
Hollow is intended to be driven by a community of developers, Whether you’re using the core tools or adding new ones through plugins, you’re part of a growing ecosystem of creativity and flexibility.
I'm an indie developer with a passion for minimalistic projects and adaptability, and that's exactly what Hollow is.
My goal has been to create a truly personal app, and it made sense that if I were to share it, it should be free. Hollow’s core isn’t just the app itself—it’s a host for the many plugins and tools that will be crafted by developers. Together, we can build something powerful and endlessly adaptable.
Currently, the app isn’t open source, as I felt it didn’t need to be. However, tools developed for Hollow will need to be open source to be approved as verified tools. While you’ll have the freedom to install any plugin designed for Hollow, it’s recommended to stick to verified plugins for the best and most secure experience.
Hollow prioritizes your privacy. All data is stored locally on your device, ensuring that you retain full control over your information. The app currently does not include any cloud-based systems.
